A marketing agency with 24 full-time employees reported retaining 534 hours of team time per month after adopting AI across its delivery and operational workflows. This is an achieved, user-reported result from the engagement.
Outerscope delivered 22 customized skills, 154 prompts and four runbooks. The implementation included Slack AI, prompt engineering for communications, and image and video capabilities for creative work.
What we identified
Ideation, research, copywriting and project management drew on the same limited team capacity. Research informed the copy, client context shaped the output, and coordination determined how work moved through the team.
The opportunity was to make useful AI workflows repeatable and accessible within the agency’s daily work. That meant pairing the tools with clear instructions and practical support for the people using them.
What we built
22 customized skills and 154 prompts
The shared library supported agency work across ideation, research, copywriting and project coordination. Prompts captured useful instructions and context so employees could reuse an approach without starting from a blank conversation.
Four runbooks for repeatable work
Runbooks documented how to use the workflows, review their output and handle the points that needed a person’s judgment. They gave the team a practical reference as the tools became part of everyday delivery.
Slack AI and communication workflows
A tailored Slack assistant brought AI into the place where the team coordinated work. Prompt engineering for communications helped employees prepare and review messages using relevant context.
Image and video capabilities
The implementation also supported creative production with image and video tools. These capabilities extended the shared library beyond text and into the media the agency produced.
How the team adopted the systems
The work paired practical training with reusable skills, prompts and runbooks. Employees could apply the capabilities to their own responsibilities and use the shared instructions when repeating a task.
What the engagement achieved
The agency reported 534 hours retained per month across its 24 full-time employees. This figure describes the achieved result reported by the user; no additional projected hours are included.
Capacity returned
More time for the work that matters.
534 hours retained
For comparison, 24 employees working 40 hours a week over a four-week month represent 3,840 hours. On that stated basis, 534 hours equal approximately 13.9% of monthly team capacity. This is a capacity comparison, not a measured cash saving or a claim about employee headcount.
The outcome gave the existing team more time for client delivery. The reported result is 534 hours per month.
